Captain's Log

Day 1365 - 11th Hour

     Somehow, according to the ship's subatomic clock, I have been sent to the future. There's nothing here. Nothing. Space has become an empty void. There is one thing that give me hope. A light. There somewhere on Earth shines a bright light that acts as a beacon for me way out here in this darkness. Its almost been four years for me, and in those four years I have seen a whole lot of crazy things out here, and yet today I awaken to suddenly nothing to see but a path back home. 

Shadow "Magic"

As I have mentioned before, there are a diverse amount of weapons at the disposal of one’s finger tips at the expense of time for vast knowledge. One of these “weapons” is another type of “magic” that I have decided to call, Shadow “Magic”. Although it may be confused with Dark “magic”, as it has in the past with other writings I have chosen to withhold from the blog, it is entirely different in style and effect. Shadow “Magic” is a cross between photon and molecular vibration; I will not be getting into the technicalities of whether it is a form of weaving or manipulation (instead I will say that it is a form of blending).

Unlike elemental darkness, which is just the form of darkness, shadow blending has attributes because it is the removal of photons and redistribution of kinetic energy of particles via vibration. This is why Shadow “Magic” is darker than night and colder than ice. It has no distinct form upon conjuration like elemental darkness; instead it appears as the way the caster wishes and in the direction at which the redistribution of heat and removal photons moves in. So in other words, it chills backwards and expands with darkness, and if the act is slowed down enough a blade of shadow can be seen forming from the tip backwards from the inside pushing out. On the flip side of things, Shadow Magic can also be very hot since molecular vibration is involved, in doing so it can be hotter than the sun. When this occurs the act obtains a white-orange tint; also the act wipes forward with heat.

The Galactic Conquest of the Time Travelers

There are three groups of people that are found in the GCTT universe, or at least the story revolves around three groups of people. The first group is the Hero Group; this group usually consists of Zero, Tom, and Shadow. The second group is the Back Packer Group; who are the Known Nine and the GEAR riders. The third and final group is the very human and uniquely gifted Masquerader Group.

The Heroes are the hell-bent saviors of the universe: Zero overthrew his world’s government and after being blown across the galaxy in to our solar system gets right back into the fighting to help save the universe, Shadow literally goes to hell and back to save his planet from an ancient evil and just like Zero helps Tom in his endeavors, and finally Tom slays the root of all Chaos and Corruption with weapons forged by God himself. 

The Backpackers are the ones that set up the winning hand for the Heroes, though there are 17 there are only nine that have been known to exist in our plane of reality. The Known Nine ensured that in the midst of hopelessness with the known universe and other dimensions collapsing a chance would still be in play for the Heroes to triumph. While this group may not seem important or appear as dull, their adventures are extremely critical and filled with action and complex tactics. Although the Backpackers set up the Heroes, the GEAR riders were the predecessors to them and could be the other eight not mentioned in the Known Nine.

The Masqueraders are a group of humans that cannot die and are extremely acrobatic. On top of being basically super human, they can use a special energy generating ability to either heal the wounded or destroy entire cities. In a sense these are the ones telling the stories of before the event horizon all the way until a little after Tom saves the universe. At first they reside on earth documenting Leon’s actions, Tom’s father. After the whole war is over, The Era of Consequence, they have been scattered across the universe waiting for Judgment to occur. 

Some of these characters you will relate with and some you will severely dislike, it matters not to me since I am only the messenger telling the story of an alternate reality where these things are acknowledged to be possible and  do in fact happen. With science we live in a world full of theoretical sense with rarely any practice. In the realm in which you are about to venture into all of our science is put in to practice and then thrown out the window of fact since what we know is pale in comparison to what the Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent knows. For those of you that say your mind is open when it is in fact shut I feel sorry for, because it is God that has a place for us.

And upon on the third a cloud was birthed/

And darkness blanketed the earth.

I've been a bit preoccupied at the moment, but fret not there will be new posts coming! I have an interesting history and another "manipulation" being prepared. I also have an image, something that my friend and I worked on, to be posted soon. 

The Art of Blending

    When it comes to manipulations nothing could be more complex than blending. The Art of Blending is one that requires a very intently focused and creative mind. This technique is the aesthetics that comes into existence when weaving and manipulating are used in perfect sync. Blending consists of two or more different types of manipulation.

      Some examples of blending include the Art of Steam, the manipulation of fire and water; the Art of Sand, the manipulation of earth and wind; the Art of Metal, the manipulation of earth and fire. Of course these are the simpler types of blending, there are others aside from the use of elementals such as "Shadow Magic"(the combination of photonic weaving and molecular vibration).

     Though it can be very effective it is not superior above the other two. Just like manipulation and weaving have pros and cons, so does the Art of Blending. One cannot use Lordic Slang in blending, nor is it as easy to grasp as weaving. In comparison to the other two the Art of Blending is twice as difficult as learning Lordic Slang, the most difficult type of manipulating to master. Not only is it difficult to learn, but it also consumes a larger amount of time, about three times as much as regular manipulating and weaving.

      There are pros though. It can take months or even years to learn a couple blending techniques, but the results are worth the trouble. When used appropriately blending yields highly potent effect. It can build cities and destroy empires, strengthen the front line or decimate the opposing army, heal the sick yet make those with sight blind. So the time and effort put into blending proves to be worth another weapon in your arsenal.
