I've been a bit preoccupied at the moment, but fret not there will be new posts coming! I have an interesting history and another "manipulation" being prepared. I also have an image, something that my friend and I worked on, to be posted soon.

The Art of Blending
When it comes to manipulations nothing could be more complex than blending. The Art of Blending is one that requires a very intently focused and creative mind. This technique is the aesthetics that comes into existence when weaving and manipulating are used in perfect sync. Blending consists of two or more different types of manipulation.
Some examples of blending include the Art of Steam, the manipulation of fire and water; the Art of Sand, the manipulation of earth and wind; the Art of Metal, the manipulation of earth and fire. Of course these are the simpler types of blending, there are others aside from the use of elementals such as "Shadow Magic"(the combination of photonic weaving and molecular vibration).
Though it can be very effective it is not superior above the other two. Just like manipulation and weaving have pros and cons, so does the Art of Blending. One cannot use Lordic Slang in blending, nor is it as easy to grasp as weaving. In comparison to the other two the Art of Blending is twice as difficult as learning Lordic Slang, the most difficult type of manipulating to master. Not only is it difficult to learn, but it also consumes a larger amount of time, about three times as much as regular manipulating and weaving.
There are pros though. It can take months or even years to learn a couple blending techniques, but the results are worth the trouble. When used appropriately blending yields highly potent effect. It can build cities and destroy empires, strengthen the front line or decimate the opposing army, heal the sick yet make those with sight blind. So the time and effort put into blending proves to be worth another weapon in your arsenal.
Weaving
As we know from previous electronic documentation, the manipulation of sub atomic, atomic, molecular particles and the elementals is usually very direct and requires and intense focus. Little known is the fact that all of this comes with a simple discipline in the form of Weaving. Weaving is the beginner form of manipulation and is indirect and loose, sometimes considered a completely different technique all together. If you've been lost about my descriptions of weaving and manipulating in the past or are currently confused, do not fret - this article is about to explain everything.
Weaving: The Formal
Just as in manipulating there are different levels and tiers (in manipulating there are 5 levels and 6 tiers though the same system applies in weaving it is not as structured). The first 3 levels contain the 6 tiers (2 tiers per level), and each level indicates a range in the amount of power released each second (the tiers are measured in the same way). The tiers exist as "man-made" markers for the progress of an individual. Upon each tier a new technique is taught to the individual, and is able to acquire the next tier by expressing the current tier in a more powerful manner
Note: each of the different manipulations have levels and tiers, it isn't collective. For example, the elemental fire at level 1/ 1st tier would be "fire ball", 2nd tier would be "scatter shot", level 2/ 1st tier would probably be "fire augmentation" and so on and so forth for the other manipulations.
Weaving: The Informal
Before any levels are achieved in manipulating weaving must be learned, its kind of like a tutorial or level 0 in manipulating. Because different beings are better suited in different manipulations weaving is used to determine which manipulation they are best at, this is possible because the amount of discipline required to perform weaving is little to nothing compared to manipulating.
Weaving became a separate style when individuals began to practice weaving by allowing themselves to produces patterns that came naturally to them instead of having to focus on one image they let their mind wander from image to image. In photon manipulation (or photonic weaving) this is easily seen with the way shapes are formed. Unlike solid shapes that are already formed in manipulating, weaving allows shapes to take form as it appears in the mind. Because of this the level and tier system has been transposed into stages.
The primary stage of weaving produces irregular shapes with little to no form, while the later stages express more refined and artistically complex patterns. The stages are as follows: Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, and Advanced.

Photon Manipulation (part 1)
The manipulation of photons is considered child's play for some of the more ignorant, but more powerful, Manipulators( I'll get into that later, what a Manipulator is that is...). The manipulation of photons is considered to be one of the arts of weaving (once again I will explain the difference between a Manipulator and a Weaver). The simplest way, and more artistic way, to explain the phenomenon of photon manipulation is to imagine each one of your hand digits(fingers and thumbs) connected to a photon particle via an invisible string. You can collect more photons if you try, just imagine you are weaving an intricate web of harmonious musical notes.
One you feel like you've collected enough particles of light begin to picture the object you wish to weave out of light, it can be basic shape like a square or the first thing that comes to mind like a chair, whatever it is just picture it. Now picture it in front of you, or the desired place, and picture it nice and solid, especially if its a chair; craft it with your hands in a very passionate manner. And if the shape comes out the way you want congratulations! You've weaved your first object! Photon manipulation is a beginner's exercise and that is why it appears inferior.
Elemental Ice and Lightning, Earth and Wind "Magic"
Elemental Ice can occur in the presence of water molecules. It is considered a very aggressive manipulation since the user can turn the water around the opponent into solid ice at the drop of a hat. An experienced ice user can change the form of ice without having to revert it back to liquid water, which would be considered water manipulation.
Elemental Lightning comes from within at a fast pace, though it is not instantaneous of a reaction as with the explosiveness of elemental light, fire or ice, with a delay of .05 seconds, it still packs a good punch against all of the other elemental manipulations. Its unbiased effectiveness is envied by those who specialize in one element. Though it is not recommended in missions that require low profile users, the use of lightning being the most noticeable manipulation of the eight, with some creativity it can be much more useful in those stations than the quieter more subtle elements.
Earth manipulations are effective from both afar and in close combat. In a long range approach the user can simply cause an earthquake, whose magnitude is dependent on the user's focus and level of discipline, and in close combat stalagmites or stalactites have been proven to be very effective deterrents. It is considered one of the more, if not the most, defensive of the eight elemental manipulations.
Of all the techniques to master, Elemental Wind is hands down the most difficult. The amount of clarity and focus needed to manipulate the individual gaseous particles in the "air" and cause them to act in unison or in a group as a unit can be quite extensive. The fact that when used as a weapon it is near invisible to the naked unaided eye is why it is favored amongst assassins and low profile missions.

Elemental Light and Dark, Fire and Water "Magic"
Elemental Light manipulation is far different from photon manipulation in that it is explosive and does not require a light source for use. It is explosive in all of the sense: by sight and sound; quite possibly by touch as well. Elemental light can be used as a force, it purges, pushes, darkness and anything affiliated with it. It is considered an offensive manipulation of energy.
Elemental Dark manipulation has properties opposite to that of elemental light. Though it can appear out of the vapor of air to solidify, like the air it is very gaseous. It is usually manifested in the shape of spikes, sine form waves(similar to ocean waves), it is mildly slow and vaporizes a few seconds, if not immediately, after manifestation. Unlike elemental light it is considered defensive.
Elemental Fire acts simply like the fire we are accustomed to, though since it is a power beyond the "norm" it does not require a fuel, simply the will and command. It is one of the few elemental manipulations that does not require a source as it would under "normal" conditions. This is always seen in Lordic Slang.
Elemental Water is generated via the water molecules in the surrounding environment, "a.k.a." it requires a source. Those who are far into the discipline can, with extreme concentration and focus, turn the water they "conjure" into ice. Some say this is a form of ice manipulation, which it technically is, but this is as far as water manipulation goes when it comes to forming shapes. In other words, one who does not know how to manipulate ice in its current form is not considered an ice user.
Side note: Orrit: The Obelisks
There has been much speculation amongst the scholars part of the (network), a network established by leaking evidence of the (other system) on the internet and to renowned scientists' private computers, on the exact function of the obelisks found on ancient Orrit. What has been proven to be fact is that they were able to generate atmospheres that allowed dense vegetation to flourish, and thats about it... . . . . . .
How they were made and sustain a limited atmosphere, what powered them and why they were built is all a mystery. Orrit is not known to have dense vegetation like that witnessed with the obelisks prior to the erecting of the things. The atmosphere pre-obelisks was stable enough for the population to grow apparently, so the creation of the obelisks was not necessary.
More details will be released as soon as possible...

About the changing of tongues... (off topic)
About every month or so I will change the language format of the blog just for fun, just for fun. For those of you just catching up feel free to comment on whatever you read here. Let it be negative or positive just as long as you make it valid and scholarly or something like that.
So have a go at it! Next month might be Spanish or soemthign. I really don't know. I still have more stuff the post, perhaps releasing 10 nice things this week? Just stick around if you find this interesting or think it'll get interesting. Or just keep drifting on by like the drifter you are! ;p (winking/sticking out tongue face).
