Weaving

As we know from previous electronic documentation, the manipulation of sub atomic, atomic, molecular particles and the elementals is usually very direct and requires and intense focus. Little known is the fact that all of this comes with a simple discipline in the form of Weaving. Weaving is the beginner form of manipulation and is indirect and loose, sometimes considered a completely different technique all together. If you've been lost about my descriptions of weaving and manipulating in the past or are currently confused, do not fret - this article is about to explain everything.

Weaving: The Formal
Just as in manipulating there are different levels and tiers (in manipulating there are 5 levels and 6 tiers though the same system applies in weaving it is not as structured). The first 3 levels contain the 6 tiers (2 tiers per level), and each level indicates a range in the amount of power released each second (the tiers are measured in the same way). The tiers exist as "man-made" markers for the progress of an individual. Upon each tier a new technique is taught to the individual, and is able to acquire the next tier by expressing the current tier in a more powerful manner

Note: each of the different manipulations have levels and tiers, it isn't collective. For example, the  elemental fire at level 1/ 1st tier would be "fire ball", 2nd tier would be "scatter shot", level 2/ 1st tier would probably be "fire augmentation" and so on and so forth for the other manipulations.

Weaving: The Informal
Before any levels are achieved in manipulating weaving must be learned, its kind of like a tutorial or level 0 in manipulating. Because different beings are better suited in different manipulations weaving is used to determine which manipulation they are best at, this is possible because the amount of discipline required to perform weaving is little to nothing compared to manipulating.
Weaving became a separate style when individuals began to practice weaving by allowing themselves to produces patterns that came naturally to them instead of having to focus on one image they let their mind wander from image to image. In photon manipulation (or photonic weaving) this is easily seen with the way shapes are formed. Unlike solid shapes that are already formed in manipulating, weaving allows shapes to take form as it appears in the mind. Because of this the level and tier system has been transposed into stages.
The primary stage of weaving produces irregular shapes with little to no form, while the later stages express more refined and artistically complex patterns. The stages are as follows: Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, and Advanced.
